My story is about how I came to understand and embrace my own sexual desires while I was going to college at CSU Chico. It is through coming to accept and embrace myself that I find my deeper pleasure and enjoyment in being with others, and I also discover what I don't want to experience in my personal relationships and what doesn't work for me, along with discovering what does work and what I do want and need. I believe that you can only love someone else to the level and depth that you love yourself first and foremost and that you can only feel loved by someone else to the level and depth you love yourself first and foremost. Otherwise, it's like trying to pour tea into an overfilled cup - the tea just starts flowing everywhere else and the person being loved on doesn't feel any more loved or cared about. By loving and accepting ourselves more, we grow our teacup and our capacity to accept more love and affection from others as well as ourselves.
Ico, (pronounced Ee-Co) is a Wandering Love Mystic and uses They/Them pronouns. They are the founder of Enlightened Consent Foundation, which is a nonprofit causing a global paradigm shift in how humanity relates to sexuality and sexual expression. Their nonprofit provides transformative experiences and supportive resources to kinky, polyamorous, and LGBTQ+ identified people so they get to experience being completely seen, honored, and loved. They are co-creating a world where everyone feels that they belong.
Entrepreneurs hire Ico to reveal their deepest sexual desires because most feel unlovable, unworthy, and uncomfortable talking about sex. So, Ico helps them gain clarity, confidence, and charisma to bring to life their romantic desires and experience self-love and acceptance.

What Enlightened Consent means to Ico is that they believe that each person is their own sovereign being and gets to say what is right for themselves and what they want, need, and desire in their love life. Ico believes that as long as the people involved are consenting and existing relationship boundaries are being respected, it doesn’t matter what anyone else outside of that thinks or feels about it. Ico believes that when you honor everything consensual and honor the authentic truth of yourself and others, you can have relationships that you LOVE and THRIVE in!
